Are you currently using or considering Google Classroom for you class? If so, you will want to read more about how to work with Screencast-O-Matic and Classroom. There are 3 key areas where we have made it super easy to work across each service.
If you use Google Classroom, you can use your Google Account to sign-up and sign-in at Screencast-O-Matic. Each time you login to Classroom, it’s a 1 click process to login to Screencast-O-Matic using the “Login with Google Button”. No need to re-enter you username or password or remember a different account login.
All Pro users can upload to Google Drive. This means that if you are using Classroom, you can upload your videos directly into the specific Classroom Drive folder you are using for the course, which makes videos organized and easy to find when you return to your class in Classroom. You still have the option to share your videos to Screencast-O-Matic, Dropbox, Vimeo Pro, and Youtube or Save to Disk. It’s just as easy sharing to Google Classroom from these other services as we will discuss next.
Google Classroom Share Button
Directly after uploading your screencast, you will be presented with the Google Classroom Share Button, allowing you to immediately share your video with the class. If you use Screencast-O-Matic to host your videos, you can share later by accessing the Google Classroom Share Button included with each video (click link button on video).
